Do you think you've heard the comment: "I don't need to go to a psychologist, I'm not crazy."? How much ignorance collected in a few words. Psychology is the science that studies human behavior. Human behavior encompasses both mental disorders of a diverse nature and those behaviors considered normal or, at least, adaptive to (over) live in the environment that surrounds us. It does not deal, therefore, only with mental problems, but also collects the knowledge of what is proven to be convenient for the well-being of the human being. Therefore, the psychologist's field of action is as broad as the levels of life: education, work, clinic, community, social, thought, he alth…

In reality, from Psychology all people and organizations of all kinds are encouraged to resort to it in search of resources or measures to resort to in the face of difficulties that we do not encounter throughout our life journey. If access to these professionals were made easier in a natural way, many problems would be prevented or at least reduced in intensity. All of this would result in an increase in the level of satisfaction with life, the direct consequence of which would be a decrease in behaviors, causing less spending on medical and pharmacological resources. The key is in prevention, in tackling the problem at its origin, removing it fromroot.

The so named coaching is nothing more than applied and personalized psychology. Perhaps, changing the name and giving the concept of modernity and making it fashionable has promoted this avalanche of "normal" people who seek to enhance their abilities and control, as far as possible, their weaknesses. Be that as it may, a great step has been taken in the field of Psychology by shedding the stigma of being a taboo subject.

At the same time, due to the changes in habits (food, rest, relationships, etc.) that are taking place, new diseases are emerging that must be treated both from the medical and psychological perspective, ensuring a comprehensive healing of the individual. The psychologist knows the most intimate secrets of his patients, manages them, and operates with them, guiding the treatment in one direction or another. Therefore, a high degree of commitment and adequate and continuous training throughout life correspond to them in order to approach each case with the responsibility and professionalism expected of them. We channel the energies of human beings, our greatest treasure.

Thus, be careful not to put yourself in the hands of any intruder, make sure that the psychologist is one, not because the sign on the door of the office announces it, but because he is really qualified. Otherwise, do not hesitate to inform the relevant authorities. There is no better quality control than the one that affects the person himself.

Despite the numerous virtues of this science and itsprofessionals, access to psychological counseling is very restricted, usually conditioned by economic factors. The state authorities do not establish policies that facilitate the entry of professionals to services where their work would be productive with total security: hospitals, courts, schools, companies, or centers for the elderly. We call for investment in equal opportunities in psychological care.

To conclude, we do not intend to convey an image of psychologists as divinities who have an answer and a solution to all the evils that lie in wait for us. We are human beings with our defects, our virtues, our strengths and our weaknesses. Sometimes, the psychologist also turns to the psychologist.
